Sipeng Township, belonging to Tonghua County, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Tonghua County, bordering Ermi town in the East, Jindou town and yingebu town in the south, sankeyushu town and Fujiang town in the west, Hongshi town and Xiangyang town in Liuhe County in the north, with a total area of 275.3 square kilometers.
In 1877, Sipeng Township set up two security systems: service and health. In August 1983, Sipeng commune was changed into Sipeng township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in four shed villages was 8832. As of June 2020, Sipeng village has jurisdiction over one community and nine administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Sipeng village.

History of construction
In the third year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1877), there were two kinds of protection: service and health. Qing Xuantong two years (1910), Baogai Township, Huiliu township.
In 1923, it belonged to six districts.
In 1949, it belonged to the British EMBU district.
In November 1956, two townships, sanpengdianzi and chelingbei, were set up.
In June 1958, it belonged to the British EMBU branch.
In 1961, two communes, chelingbei commune and sanpengdianzi commune, were established in yingebu commune.
In March 1968, it merged with chelingbei, sanpengdianzi 2 commune and zhengcha brigade of Ermi commune to form Sipeng commune.
In August 1983, Sipeng commune was changed into Sipeng township.
