Taihe Town

Taihe Town, subordinate to Heishan County, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Heishan County, bordering Hujia town in the East, Heishan street and Zhen'an town in the south, Badaohao town in the west, Fangshan Town and xuetun Township in the north, with an administrative area of 115.41 square kilometers.

In 1953, it was Taihe agricultural primary cooperative; in February 1997, Taihe Township was transformed into town; in 2002, Shengli township was merged into Taihe Town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Taihe Town was 23878. As of June 2020, Taihe Town has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Taihe village.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Taihe Town was 42.09 million yuan, an increase of 10% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 26.72 million yuan, an increase of 168% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 9017 yuan. In 2018, there were 12 industrial enterprises in Taihe Town, including 3 Enterprises above the designated size and 50 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1953, it was Taihe agricultural primary cooperative.

In 1956, Taihe agricultural production cooperative was established, belonging to four districts (Badaohao).

In February 1958, Taihe Township was established.

In April 1961, Taihe commune was changed.

In September 1983, it was changed to Taihe Township.

In February 1997, Taihe Township was transformed into a town.

In 2002, Shengli township was merged into Taihe Town.

At the end of 2011, Taihe Town had jurisdiction over 2 communities and 17 administrative villages: livestock farm community, Longwan reservoir, Taihe, gengtun, Baotun, Daxie, Xiqiu, Liu Erjin, xigongluo, dayangou, xiaoyushu, Shaohu, Luojia, Ziqiang, Jianshanzi, Shengli, baitaizi, Wujian and Lanni, and 136 villager groups. There are 60 natural villages.

As of June 2020, Taihe Town has 17 administrative villages: Taihe village, gengtun village, Baotun village, liuerjin village, Xiqiu village, Daxie village, Xigong village, dayangou village, xiaoyushu village, Shengli village, baitaizi village, Wujian village, Lanni village, Ziqiang village, Luojia village, Shaohu village and Jianshanzi village. The Town People's government is stationed in Taihe village.

hydrology

There are two main rivers in Taihe Town, which pass through the East and west sides of the town. Among them, the West Branch of Dongsha river originates at the foot of Lushan Mountain in Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, flows into Longwan reservoir from northwest to southeast through Fangshan town. The downstream reach of the main dam of the reservoir is 5 km long and 80 m wide, and enters Hujia town through Xigong village and Daxie village. Another Yangchang river passes through Lanni village and Wujian village in the town, with a width of 100 meters and a length of 4 kilometers. There is also Xinkai River in the town. It originates from dayangou village, passes through Taihe village, liuerjin village, Baotun village, Shaohu village, and flows into Zhenan town. It is a three-level river with a total length of 10km and a width of 25m. It is located in the eastern boundary. Originating from Shuiquangou at the foot of Lushan Mountain in Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, it flows into the town through Xinlitun and Hujia towns, and flows from northeast to southwest. The river is 8.4km long and 60m wide.
