History of construction
During the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1821-1850), it began to develop.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to eight districts. In 1931, it belonged to Guangning village. In 1948, it belonged to six districts.
In 1958, the post Gaojia commune was established and stationed in the post Gaojia village.
In December 1958, later Gaojia commune was merged into maochengzi commune.
In April 1961, maochengzi commune was divided into glass Chengzi commune.
