Kalaqin town
The town of kalqin is a county in Jianping, Chaoyang City, Liaoning province. It is located in the east of Jianping county. It is located in the East and north border with the tiger hill in the four home town of Aohan banner, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and is adjacent to Chaoyang County. The west is adjacent to the Song Song Ling Township, Zhu Lu Ke, with an area of 187.75 square kilometers. Up to 2018, the registered residence population was 21545.
In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Qingshan County of Qingshan Prefecture. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), Kalaqin was subordinate to the office of Kalaqin Right Banner. In April 2004, the villages were merged with Hexiang, and the original 16 villages were merged into 13 villages. As of June 2020, karaqin town has 13 administrative villages.

Historical evolution
In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Qingshan County of Qingshan Prefecture.
In the second year of Kaitai in Liao Dynasty, Jinyuan county was set up by the people of Zhongjing. Emperor Shengzong of Liao Dynasty took jindianzi as Jinyuan county. In the name of Jindian.
During the Jin Dynasty, Jinyuan county was still set up, which was subordinate to Dading Prefecture on Beijing road. There is Camel Mountain.

In the Qing Dynasty, it was kharqin land, which belonged to Zhenglan Banner among the eight banners.
In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), Kalaqin was subordinate to the office of Kalaqin Right Banner.
On August 15, 1945, the regional troops of the re Liao army entered Jianping; on September 23 of the same year, Jianping County was established, and Kalaqin was subordinate to Zhuluke, the third district.
In August 1947, Jianping County was divided into nine districts, and Kalaqin was divided into two districts; in September of the same year, Kalaqin East banner was established, and Kalaqin Sumu office was set up.
On July 10, 1949, Jianping County was divided into 13 districts, including 13 karaqin districts.
On January 16, 1956, Jianping County merged 13 administrative districts into 6, and the 13 districts became Zhuluke District, belonging to Kalaqin village.
On October 1, 1958, the red banner commune of Kalaqin was built in the abandoned Township and town.
On May 18, 1961, Kalaqin commune was established.

There are 3400 meters of rivers in Kalaqin Town, with a flood discharge width of 100 meters and a drainage area of 34 square kilometers. From Kalaqin East Bridge to dongjialin xiawanzi, it enters into Laohushan river. From the origin of Shijialiang in kaizhangzi to Kalaqin East Bridge, it is a seasonal river with a total length of 25 km and a width of 80 m, with a flood drainage area of 2000 square kilometers. One of them is from dazhongyingziqiao to jiamatai in Mingshui, which is 1.5km long and 5m wide. Xigan River in qingsongling Township, from Xiwa of Machang village to xiawanzi of dongjialin, has a total length of 5.5km and a width of 80m. It is a seasonal river with a flood discharge area of 44km.
