Village related districts were established in 1948, communes in 1961 and townships in 1983. In 1992, villages were removed and towns were built. Attachment: Hetaoyuan township is located in the southeast of Gongyi City, 27 kilometers away from the municipal government. It is one of the national silica production bases. Resources: rich resources related to villages. Underground there are a lot of coal, bauxite, purple sand, limestone, marble, pyrite and other resources. Geological survey data show that Shecun coalfield is stable, the thickness of coal seam is generally 3-7M, and the proved reserves are 14.57 million tons. And the coal quality is excellent, the ignition point is high, the calorific value is more than 5500 kcal / T, which has high mining value.

The thickness of ore bed in Shecun bauxite mining area is 1.52m, and the total reserves of high and low aluminum are about 63.3 million tons. The content of gallium in bauxite is high. The spectral analysis shows that the grade is above 0.001%, and the highest is 0.6%. The total metal reserves are about 6068 tons. The Zisha deposit was discovered by the geological team in 1981. The indicated reserves are about 50 million tons, which can be mined in the open pit. Limestone is widely distributed in the town, with reserves of 64.29 million tons. Its chemical composition is 54.2% Cao, 0.54% MgO and 1.17% SiO2. High quality limestone is an ideal raw material for the development of cement industry. There are more than 10 kinds of marbles in the town. The more precious ones are sunset red glow, dazhuye, meihuaqing, Yinhui, brownish leaf stone, yangchunbaixue, etc. the reserve of marbles in Yangjiaogou village is considerable. There are three mountaintops that can be mined in the open air, and the surface reserve is 3.5 million cubic meters. The reserves of pyrite in bauxite are 9.79 million tons.

With the deepening of reform and rapid economic development, the villages and towns concerned have gradually formed an economic structure dominated by raw material industry according to their own conditions and advantages. By the end of 1998, there were more than 2000 four level enterprises in the town, including 68 collective backbone enterprises at the town and village levels, most of which are resource-based enterprises. In 1992, the total social output value of the town exceeded 100 million yuan for the first time, reaching 119 million yuan. The total output value of industry and agriculture reached 80 million yuan. High alumina clay

There are 58 raw aluminum mines in the town, with an annual mining capacity of 250000 tons and 72 mature diamond kilns. Only bauxite has an annual output value of 25 million yuan. Due to the high quality and low price of local bauxite, it has been supplied to Zhengzhou Aluminum Plant, steel-making plants and refractory plants in various provinces and cities throughout the country and exported abroad. Refractories: there are many refractories manufacturers in the village, which is one of the earliest refractory manufacturers in our city. No.1 refractory plant (i.e. laoshecun refractory plant) was founded in 1958 and has a history of 40 years. The villages and towns involved are rich in refractory resources, and many refractory manufacturers have appeared one after another. The first and second refractory enterprises belong to town run enterprises, and then Linggou, Nangou, Xipo, Beizhuang and other villages have built large-scale refractory enterprises, especially Linggou and Nangou, which are only large-scale, high-grade products, with developed science and technology and more new product development.

Stone

It is produced in Yangjiaogou village at the foot of Songshan Mountain, where more than 80% of the labor force is engaged in stone processing. Stone lions, stone plaques, stone tables and other products with beautiful shape and fine carving are favored by the majority of rural and garden units. The products are exported to Yongdong area, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, etc. The rapid development of township enterprises has effectively promoted agricultural production. The township government has increased agricultural investment, promoted agricultural science and technology, continuously improved agricultural conditions, and further strengthened the agricultural foundation through the way of Subsidizing Agriculture with industry. By 1996, the town's irrigated land area reached 5500 mu, the total grain output reached 5.4 million kg, the highest level in history, and the production of forestry and animal husbandry developed rapidly. By the end of 1995, 9500 mu of barren hills in the town had been afforested, 3500 mu of economic forests had been built, and 17 square kilometers of small watershed had been managed. The output value of animal husbandry reached 11 million yuan, including 4250 cattle, 80000 chickens and 6410 pigs. Economic development has greatly improved the living standards of the people. There are more than 500 chicken professional households in the town, including 8 households with more than 1000 chickens, with a maximum of 3000 chickens. There are 85 households with more than 20 sheep, among which 14 households with more than 40 sheep have the most 93 sheep. The water-saving irrigation project of Honghe reservoir with an investment of more than 20 million yuan and the Panlong water diversion project not only solved the problem of drinking water for 14000 people and 3500 large livestock in 13 administrative villages, but also increased the effective irrigation area of 5000 mu. Since 2001, two new poverty alleviation and relocation villages have been built in Taoyuan, with 208 relocated households completed.
