Yantongshan Town, belonging to Panshi City, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Panshi City. It borders on quchaihe town in the East, Yima town in the southeast, Shizui town in the south, Mingcheng town and Jichang town in the west, Shanhe street in Shuangyang District, Changchun City in the Northwest, and Shuanghe town in Yongji County in the north. It is 39 kilometers away from Panshi City, with an area of 493.8 square kilometers.
In 1726, Yantongshan street was set up in Yantongshan Town, which belongs to Yongji Prefecture. In 1965, Yantongshan commune was divided into Yantongshan town and Yantongshan commune. In 1984, Yantongshan commune was merged into Yantongshan town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the chimney town was 65761. As of June 2020, Yantongshan town has three communities and 46 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Zhonghe community.

History of construction
In 1726, Yantongshan street was set up in Yongji Prefecture. In 1908, it was put under the jurisdiction of Panshi county.
In 1914, it belonged to the second police district. In 1938, Yantongshan street was set up. In January 1949, it belonged to 12 districts (Yantongshan District).
In September 1958, Yantongshan commune was established.
In October 1961, Guanma commune and chuchaihe commune separated from Yantongshan commune.
In May 1962, Xiaolihe commune separated from Yantongshan commune.
In 1965, Yantongshan commune was divided into Yantongshan town and Yantongshan commune.
In 1984, Yantongshan commune was incorporated into Yantongshan town.
In March 1999, Xiaolihe commune was incorporated into Yantongshan town.
In August 2001, Guanma town was merged into Yantongshan town.
