Tiansheng Street
Tiansheng street, subordinate to Beibei District of Chongqing, is located in the center of Beibei District. It is connected with Chaoyang Street in the East, Longfeng street in the south, and Wenquan street in the West and North. It is 4.5 kilometers away from the residence of Beibei District People's government, with a total area of 7.3 square kilometers.
In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), it belonged to the Three Gorges rural construction experimental area of Jialing River; in October 1972, it was changed from Xiangyang Street to Tiansheng street. At the end of 2011, Tiansheng street had a total population of 69800. As of June 2020, Tiansheng street has 9 communities under its jurisdiction, and its sub district office is located at No. 82 Zhongshan Road.
In 2011, the financial revenue of Tiansheng street was 18 million yuan, and the general budget revenue was 18.474 million yuan; the total industrial output value was 140 million yuan, 7.6% less than that in 2010; the total social commodity sales reached 4.23 billion yuan, 21.6% more than that in 2010.
History of construction
In 1936, it belonged to the Three Gorges rural construction experimental area of Jialing River. In 1942, it was under the jurisdiction of Beibei administration.
In March 1954, Tiansheng street, Beibei District was established.
In December 1958, Tiansheng street and Chaoyang Street merged to form Chaoyang people's Committee.
In March 1960, it was changed into Chaoyang City commune.
In October 1962, Chaoyang Street was restored.
In May 1964, it was separated from Chaoyang Street and restored to Tiansheng street.
In August 1966, Tiansheng street was renamed Xiangyang Street.
In October 1972, Xiangyang Street was changed into Tiansheng street.

In August 1985, the Yueliangtian production team of longfengqiao township was incorporated into Tiansheng street.
In July 1993, the zaojiaobao production team of Beiwenquan town was incorporated into Tiansheng street.
In March 1995, shengjigou production team and longfengqiao area of Longqiao town were merged into Tiansheng street.
In 1996, Tiansheng Street governed 22 communities, including Jialing village, yutangwan, Beixia Road, Laodong village, Yunquan Road, Shengli Street, Guangrong village, Xincun, Zhongshan Road, Caishi street, Liyuan Village, Xinxing Road, Shiyan village, Wenhua Village, Minzhu village, Shigang village, Huangshu village, Tiansheng Road, Hongshi Village, zaojiaobao, Wangyue village and maitian village.
In August 2001, the 22 residential section was changed to 14 community.
In 2006, Tiansheng Street governed 10 communities, including Xinxing Road, Shengli Street, quanwaiyuan, Xishi, Tianshengqiao, Xinong, Beixia Road, Longxi Road, Hehuachi and penyue road.
In May 2008, 14 communities were merged into 9 communities.
By the end of 2011, Tiansheng street had 9 communities, including quanwaiyuan, Hehuachi, Tianshengqiao, penyue Road, Beixia Road, Longxi Road, Xinxing Road, South Community of Southwest University, North Community of Southwest University, and 161 resident groups.
