Lidayao township is located in the northeast of Youyu County, at the foot of the ancient Great Wall. It borders on Liangcheng County of Inner Mongolia with the Great Wall in the north, Youwei town and Shahukou ancient cultural tourism area in the west, niuxin Township in the South and Zuoyun County in the East.
