Gaojiadian Town, belonging to Nong'an County, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Nong'an County, bordering Xinnong Township and wanjinta Township in the East, Nong'an town in the south, Halahai town in the West and Xiaochengzi Township in the north. It is 31.4km away from Nong'an County, with a total area of 164.11km2.

In 1889, there was a nongqin community in Gaojiadian town; in 1984, Gaojiadian commune was changed into Gaojiadian town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Gao Jia Dian town was 33512. As of June 2020, Gaojiadian town has one community and 14 administrative villages, and the people's Government of the town is located in Gaojiadian block.

In 2018, there were 26 industrial enterprises in Gaojiadian Town, including one above scale and 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1926, Gaojiadian town was established. In October 1947, it belonged to seven districts.
