HaLaHai Town, belonging to Nong'an County, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Nong'an county. It borders Xiaochengzi Township and Gaojiadian town in the East, Nong'an town in the south, yangshulin Township and Wanshun Township in the west, and wangfuzhan town and halamaudu town in the north. It is 26.4km away from Nong'an County, with a total area of 435km.
In 1833, the town of halihai Chengzi was established; in 1984, HaLaHai township was replaced by HaLaHai township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of halai town was 73256. As of June 2020, Halahai town has one community and 26 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Halahai town is located in Halahai street.
In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in HaLaHai Town, including one above scale and 85 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters. In July 2019, Halahai town was selected into the list of national strong agricultural towns in 2019.
History of construction
