Luobin town
Luobin town belongs to Pucheng County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the northeast of Pucheng County, it borders Jiaotong town of Chengcheng County in the East, sun town in the south, Leiya town of Baishui County in the West and Xigu town of Baishui County in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 16 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 18.5 kilometers, with a total area of 119.3 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Luobin town has 12 administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence population of Lubin town was 29832. In 2011, the total financial revenue of Luobin town was 4.483 million yuan. The per capita net income of farmers is 4670 yuan. The industrial added value was 230 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It was named after the town government's presence on the shore of Luoshui river.
In the spring and Autumn period, it was the Zhengyi (also known as refuge Fort), which was the refuge place of Chong'er, the son of Jin Dynasty. The name of Chengcheng County came from here.
In Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Liucun, Puji, Yongping and tongyuanli of xiangluan township.
In 1905, it was the fifth, sixteenth, seventeenth and 22nd couplet of Dongxiang.
In 1941, Mahu town was changed to Luobin town.
In 1956, it was subordinate to Sunzhen district.
In 1958, it was the Mahu management area of Yuejin commune.
In August 1961, Mahu commune was established.
In March 1984, it was renamed Mahu township.
In March 2000, it was changed to town system.
In December 2001, Mahu, Xitou and Caideng townships merged and renamed Luobin town.

Caocang site in Shuyi
Caocang site of Shuyi is located on the second terrace on the West Bank of Luohe River beside Xitou village, Luobin Town, Pucheng County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is a site of spring and autumn and Warring States period. The site is 3 km long and 1.5-2 km wide from north to south. The central area is located on the cultivated land of the east group of Xitou village. There are building sites 25 meters long and 10 meters wide from east to west, with stone foundations inside. Five pottery kilns were found nearby, as well as a large number of green slabs with rope pattern, plate tiles with outer rope pattern, inner pockmarked pattern, rhombic pattern, cloth pattern, tube tiles with continuous arc pattern or parallel double arc pattern, cloud pattern tiles, and fragments of pottery pots, urns, pots, pots. In particular, the discovery of the tile of "Zhengyi Caocang" confirms the historical fact that Qin "took the northern part of Jin to levy" and built Caocang in 617 BC.
On May 3, 2013, Caocang site in Shuyi was listed as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council.
