Tucheng Township
Tucheng Township, belonging to Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Wafangdian City, adjacent to Zhaotun Township in the East, Yongning Town in the south, Bohai Bay in the West and Liguan town in the north. Its total area is 96 square kilometers. In late 2018, the population of Tcheng town had 23620 registered residence.
Tucheng township is named after the city built with soil in Tang Dynasty. In June 1951, it belongs to four districts of Yongning. In November of the same year, Yongning commune was established as the management area of Tucheng. In May 1961, it was separated from Yongning commune and established Tucheng commune. In 1983, Tucheng commune was transformed into urban and rural areas. As of June 2020, Tucheng township has nine villagers' committees.
In 2018, there were 5 industrial enterprises in Tucheng Township, 2 above scale, and 53 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
During the period of Japanese puppet rule, it belonged to Tong'an village in Fuxian county.
In 1939, Tong'an village was renamed Ning'an village. Northeast Guangfu belongs to Tuchengzi village, Yongning District, Fu County, Liaoning Province.
In June 1951, it belongs to four districts of Yongning. In November of the same year, Yongning commune was established as the management area of Tucheng.
In May 1961, it was separated from Yongning commune and established Tucheng commune.
In 1983, Tucheng commune was transformed into urban and rural areas.

Large stone shed
Dafangshen stone shed is located in dafangshentun, Fuda village, Tucheng Township, north of Wafangdian City. It belongs to a bronze age tomb. The specification of the stone shed belongs to a small stone shed.
Facing south, the stone shed is rectangular in plane, which is composed of six reddish brown granite slabs. Many of the rocks in the local mountains are of this color. The slabs have no obvious grinding traces, and are covered with green moss, showing the vicissitudes of life. The stone slabs of the East, West and North walls are still standing, covered with a stone slab. A stone slab is laid in the stone shed. The stone slab of the south wall falls in the front of the stone shed and is broken into two sections.
On September 30, 2011, Wafangdian municipal government announced it as a county-level cultural relics protection unit, and on March 25, 2013, Dalian municipal government announced it as the Sixth Batch of municipal cultural relics protection units in Dalian. In the south of the stone shed, there is a granite bluestone tablet of the county-level cultural relics protection unit of Wafangdian municipal government.
