Halnao Township, belonging to Beipiao City, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Beipiao City. In the Qing Dynasty, Rehe was located in Chaoyang County. During the puppet Manchu period, it belonged to halnao village office, xiguanying village office and Taohuatu Village Office of tumute Middle Banner in Jinzhou province. In 1958, the commune was established. In 1984, the village was changed. As of June 2020, halnao township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages.
