Sanhe Town, belonging to Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the middle of Wudu district. It is adjacent to Yuhuang Township and Pipa Township in the East, waina Township in the south, tangerine Township in the West and Guohe Township in the north. It is 25.4km away from Wudu City, with a total area of 88.54km2.

In the Qing Dynasty, Sanhe Town belonged to dieshili of Jiezhou; in December 1983, it was changed from Sanhe commune to Sanhe Town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Sanhe Town was 13136. In 2019, Sanhe Town has 16 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Sanhe Town is located in Hanping village.

In 2018, Sanhe Town has 9 industrial enterprises and 3 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to dieshili of Jiezhou.

In 1912, it belonged to qiandieshili.

In 1935, it was Fujin township.

In July 1950, it was designated as Hanwang district and renamed Sanhe township.

In October 1955, Da'an and Beishan townships were merged into Sanhe township.

In March 1958, Huajiao township was merged into Sanhe township.

In October 1958, Sanhe commune was established; in November of the same year, Guohe and Yuhuang commune were merged.

In June 1961, Sanhe commune was divided into Guohe commune and Yuhuang commune.

In December 1983, Sanhe commune was transformed into Sanhe Town.
