Zhonggu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Kaiyuan city, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Kaiyuan city, adjacent to Songshan town in the East, Majiazhai town and pingdingbao town in Tieling County in the south, Yemin town in the West and Xingkai street in the north, with an administrative area of 126.68 square kilometers.
In 1946, it was Zhonggu township; in 1984, it was changed to Zhonggu town. By the end of 2018, 26633 people registered residence in Guzhen. As of June 2020, Zhonggu town has 15 administrative villages and another village level unit.
In 2011, the total revenue of Zhonggu town was 78.39 million yuan, an increase of 36% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 10402 yuan. In 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises in Zhonggu Town, including 2 above scale enterprises and 46 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In 1946, it was Zhonggu township.
