Jinsuo town

It is located 19.50 kilometers north of Sihong County. It is connected with Caomiao Township in the East, Zhuhu town in the south, Guiren town and meihua Township in the west, and Chenji town of Sucheng district across the river in the north. The total area is 80.69 square kilometers (2017). There are 70300 mu of cultivated land and 30000 mu of water area. It has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages.

Jinsuo Town, formerly known as gong'an Town, used to be "the key to the South and the north". According to the records of Siyang County, the polder was built by Chen linhui in the first year of Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1862). There were about 500 households with heavy troops to guard it, so it was named Jinsuo Town, also known as Jinsuo pass.

Since 1864, Jinsuo town was under the jurisdiction of Tao and su. Suqian county was under the jurisdiction of the Republic of China. In 1928, the first party organization in qingyangbei, Baimiao Party branch, was established here.
