Xintaizi town

Xintaizi town is located in the south of Tieling County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province. It is subordinate to Tieling Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is an established town approved by the State Council in 1956. It is one of the 100 national pilot towns for small town construction and one of the 15 provincial demonstration towns for small town construction. It is known as "the first town in northern Liaoning". It is 20 kilometers away from Tieling City in the north, 26 kilometers away from the main urban area of Shenyang in the South and across the river from Shenbei New District of Shenyang in the south. It is within the half-hour economic circle of Shenyang and is an important node of Shenyang Railway industrial corridor.

The town government is located in xintaizi, with a permanent population of 28855 (2017), covering an area of 111.44 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 18 village committees: xintaizi, Beidi, Santaizi, Balizhuang, Xujiahu, xigujiazi, huabaotun, suolonggangzi, zhuershan, xixiaohe, xisanjiazi, baojiagangzi, zhumintun, anxintai, xintaibao, Yilu, donggujiazi and yangshitun.
