Zhaoyanghe Town, belonging to Kangbao County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Kangbao County, bordering Kangbao ranch and Tunken town in the East, mandetang Township in the south, and No. 7 town of Huade County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the West and North. It is 25 kilometers away from the people's Government of Kangbao County, with a total area of 234.04 square kilometers.
In 1948, zhaoyanghe town belonged to the Sixth District of Kangbao County; in June 1994, it was changed from zhaoyanghe township to zhaoyanghe town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 12454. As of June 2020, zhaoyanghe town has 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in zhaoyanghe village.
In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in zhaoyanghe Town, including one above scale and eight comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1948, zhaoyanghe town belonged to the Sixth District of Kangbao County.
In 1952, zhaoyanghe township was established.
In 1958, it belonged to man de Tang commune.
In the spring of 1961, zhaoyanghe commune was founded after it was separated from mandetang commune.
In 1984, zhaoyanghe commune was changed into zhaoyanghe township.
In June 1994, it was changed from zhaoyanghe township to zhaoyanghe town.

Gossan is found in the contact zone between granite and amphibolite. Tianjiaying copper mine is located 1.2km southeast of the village. The ore body is vein like, with 5 mineralization zones, including 9 veins. In the middle of zhaoyanghe Town, there are many mineral deposits, such as fluorite, granite, tungsten and beryllium, mainly distributed in Xinglong, houzhao and erhaoji. The eastern zhaoyanghe town is rich in fluorite deposits, mainly distributed in Xiwu, kongdugou, anjiadi and yangtongnian. The Xiwu Yingshi ore deposit is located 2 kilometers west of the village. The Yingshi vein occurs in granite, 200 meters long and about 1 meter wide. Kongdugou Yingshi ore spot is located on the shelf mountain, 1.5km to the west of the village. It is vein like and occurs in granite. The vein is 300m long and 0.5-2.5m wide. Anjiadi Yingshi ore deposit is located in Nanshan, Xiaobazi, nanjinggou village, 2km away from the village. Yingshi vein occurs in granite, 60m long and 0.2-0.4m wide. There are two main Yingshi veins in yangtongnian, one in the southwest of the village is associated with quartz vein, which is 310 meters long and narrow in the north and wide in the south, generally 0.5-5.75 meters, with an average of 1.8 meters. The main Yingshi veins are purple and black purple, followed by emerald green, colorless and transparent. The other is located on Moshishan in the south of the village. The Yingshi vein occurs in granite. The length of the vein is 70-80m, and the thickness is generally 0.1-0.3m, and the thickest is 0.5m.
There is abundant shallow groundwater in the upper reaches of each gully in zhaoyanghe town. It is difficult to build a well in the downstream village, and the water quantity is relatively small. There are shallow water resources in zhangyusheng, shisannaobao, haojiaying and Gaojiaying villages in Xigou, haojigou and qianzhaoyanghe villages in Zhonggou, maowogou, yangtongniangou, dongwufutang, anjiadi and kongdugou villages in Donggou.
