Liuhezi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dengta City, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Dengta City, adjacent to Xihu District of Benxi City in the East, Jiguanshan Township and huazi town in the southwest, huazi town in the West and Sujiatun District of Shenyang City in the north, with an administrative area of 117.31 square kilometers.
During the Warring States period, it belonged to Liaodong County of Yan state; in 1994, it built liuhezi town; in August 1996, it belonged to lighthouse City. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Liuhe Town was 17679. As of June 2020, liuhezi town has 15 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of liuhezi town was 447.26 million yuan, an increase of 56.6% over the previous year. Among them, local fiscal revenue was 13 million yuan, an increase of 9% over the previous year. The per capita fiscal revenue was 24658 yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 5 industrial enterprises in liuhezi Town, including 3 above scale enterprises and 44 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction

In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Anton's Prefecture, the governor of Liaocheng Prefecture.
In Jin Dynasty, it belonged to Liaoyang County and Shicheng County.
In the Ming Dynasty, the capital division of Liaodong was changed to be subordinate to the chief envoy division of Shandong.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Liaoyang Prefecture.
In 1913, Liaoyang Prefecture was transformed into Liaoyang County.
In 1929, it belonged to Liaoyang County, Liaoning Province.
After October, 1945, it belongs to northeast region and Liaoyang County, Liaodong province.
In July 1954, it belongs to Liaoyang County, Liaoning Province.
In January 1959, it belongs to Liaoyang City, Anshan City, Liaoning Province.
In 1961, liuhezi commune was established.
In April 1965, it belonged to Liaoyang County, Liaoning Province; in December of the same year, it belonged to Liaoyang County, Liaoning Province.

In 1983, it was changed to liuhezi township.
