Shangpai town

SHANGPAI Town, located in the Middle East of Feixi County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, is the political, economic and cultural center of the whole county. It is 17 kilometers southwest of Hefei City, close to Hefei high tech Development Zone, economic development zone and Hefei Binhu New Area, and is connected with the urban area by Jinzhai South Road.

In the Ming Dynasty, Shangpai town was recorded in written records; in the Qing Dynasty, Shangpai set up Paihe post. SHANGPAI township was established in 1949 and resumed in 1962. At the end of 2005, Tianbu village of Taohua town was merged into Shangpai town. It has jurisdiction over 12 communities and 14 administrative villages (Chaohu and Tianbu villages are jointly managed by Hefei high tech Development Zone).

Shangpai town is located in the plain area of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Pai River flows through the east of the town from north to south, and the water is transported into Chaohu Lake and navigable into the Yangtze River. Hejiu railway, Hejie expressway, he'an highway (206 National Highway) and Hetong highway pass through the town. Shangpai town is the seat of Feixi County Government in Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is located in the upstream of Pai River (Pai River flows from northwest to East into Chaohu Lake). It is known as the South Gate of Hefei. It is located in the east of the county. It is 15km away from Hefei City in the northeast, 37km away from Shucheng County in the southwest and 65km away from Lu'an City in the West. It is surrounded by Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, Taohua Town, Yandian town and fengle town Huagang town and Zipeng town are adjacent to each other.

Topography and climate

Shangpai town is located in the plain area of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with flat terrain. There is Pai River flowing into Chaohu Lake from northwest to East. Subtropical monsoon climate, annual average temperature 15.7 ℃, average precipitation 1000 ml, average humidity 70%.

Pai River flows through Shangpai town for 17 kilometers to Chaohu Lake, and Qiannan trunk canal flows through 11 villages of the town. There are 10 irrigation canals, including 105 cm branch canal, Weigang branch canal, Shangpai branch canal and 90 cm branch canal, with a total length of more than 21000 meters; there are 12 small type II reservoirs, including Tanchong, xuanwan, Tongwa, nijiayan, Guangming, Hanwei and Beizhang reservoirs, with a total water storage of more than 18 million cubic meters, and 70% of the villages in the town can realize artesian irrigation. Along the Paihe River, there are many electric irrigation stations, such as Zhongpai, which can provide water for irrigation in time. The irrigation area of the whole town can reach more than 18000 mu, basically realizing the goal of ensuring the income from drought and flood.

Shangpai town is the political, economic and cultural center of Feixi County, with convenient transportation. Beijing Taiwan expressway, Hefei Liuzhou expressway, 206 National Highway, Hefei TongZhou highway and Hefei TongZhou Expressway pass through the town, while Ningxi railway, Hefei Jiulong Railway and Hefei Wuhan Railway run through the town. Paihe River and fengle river reach the Yangtze River through Chaohu Lake. Railways, highways, waterways and airports form a three-dimensional transportation network extending in all directions.

From Jinzhai South Road 15 km north to Hefei city; there is county road x044312 National Road 65 km west to Lu'an City; from Jinzhai South Road, 206 National Road 37 km southwest to Shucheng county. Since 2006, three intercity trunk roads, Qinglong Road, feicui road and Jinzhai South Road, have been built and expanded. The 80 km urban traffic network has been built and put into use one after another. The urban framework of "five vertical and nine horizontal" has been opened.

A number of bus routes have been opened between Shangpai town and Hefei City, including No. 30, No. 31, No. 32 and No. 33. The urban circular bus has been put into operation successively, making it convenient for people to travel. Among them, No. 30 can go directly to Anhui Provincial Museum; No. 31 can go directly to Hefei south station. In addition, there are six buses (691, 692, 693, 695, 696 and 699) connecting the whole town with the surrounding towns.

The planting area of seedlings and flowers with Sangang as the center is 180000 mu. There are more than 400 varieties of seedlings and flowers in six categories. Sangang seedlings are sold to more than 20 provinces and cities in China, with an annual sales of more than 150 million yuan. The "Sangang" flower trademark is a registered trademark of the State Administration for Industry and commerce. At present, there are two professional associations of seedlings and flowers, which implement the production and sales mode of "association + farmers, Association joint market", and the market competitiveness is constantly enhanced.

Using Huamu city as a platform for scientific research and sales of seedlings and flowers, we can realize the transformation from focusing on seedlings and single varieties to the common development of seedlings and flowers. The planting structure is gradually reasonable and the quality is constantly improved. Driven by some large farmers, some qualified farmers began to set foot in the landscaping construction and maintenance market, and the industrial chain was further extended.
