Jiaoxie town
Jiaoxie Town, belonging to Linwei District, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northeast of Linwei district. It borders Xiazhai town of Dali County in the East, Xiaoyi town in the south, Guchi town in the west, Lindian town in the northwest and Guanlu town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 7.4 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 9.7 km, with a total area of 34.09 square kilometers.
By June 2020, jiaoxie town has 16 administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence population of Jiao Jiao Town was 27917. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of jiaoxie town reached 190 million yuan, and the total industrial output value reached 140 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It is said that before the Qing Dynasty, this place was located in the Weihe River traffic unloading dock, named jiaoxie Town, and then gradually evolved into jiaoxie town.
In the Ming Dynasty, part of it was Leihua town.
