Mangshu street, belonging to Taiping District, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the middle of Taiping District, with Shuiquan town in the East, Xinyi Line of national railway in the south, Zhanqian street of Haizhou District in the West and the South Bank of Xihe River in the north. The total administrative area is 3.32 square kilometers. At the end of 2011, the total population of mangshu sub district was 61588.
In January 1955, bulamaotou street was established. In May 1960, the district's five streets were changed into four branches, and wulamaotou street was changed into thermal power branch. In May 1961, four branches were changed into five communes, and thermal power branch was changed into mangrove commune. In 1961, wulamaotou street was renamed mangshu street. As of June 2020, mangshu Street governs 10 communities.

History and culture
In 1881, the Han people built a Niangniang Temple to the east of Taipingzhuang. There was a big tree on the east side of the temple. It is said that the Mongolian Prince passed by, dismounted, looked at the big tree and said, "Budun Maotou (Mongolian, meaning big tree)". From then on, Budun Maotou was the place name. It is said that the Chinese people of several generations translated "Bu Dun Mao tou" into "mangrove" after mistaking "Bu La Mao tou".
