Kuangdonggou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Gaizhou City, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Gaizhou City, adjacent to Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County of Anshan City in the East, Zhuanghe City of Dalian City in the southeast and south, Wanfu town in the southwest, West and northwest, Wolongquan town in the north and northeast, with an administrative area of 260 square kilometers.
In July 1950, Kuangdonggou district (eight districts) was established; in 1998, Kuangdonggou township was transformed into a town; in November 2001, Taipingzhuang township was merged into Kuangdonggou town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of mine town was 26498. As of June 2020, Kuangdonggou town has 14 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Kuangdonggou town was 5.94 million yuan, an increase of 20.9% over the previous year. History of construction
In July 1950, Kuangdonggou district (eight districts) was established.
In November 1954, Kuangdonggou belonged to weishanhe district and Chishan district respectively, belonging to GAIPING county.
In March 1956, the township was built in the district and 6 townships were built in Kuangdonggou district.
In 1958, GAIPING County commune was established, with Kuangdonggou as the brigade and its Township Reform squadron.
In 1959, Kuangdonggou commune was established.
In 1983, Kuangdonggou commune was transformed into a township.
In 1998, Kuangdonggou township was transformed into a town.
In November 2001, Taipingzhuang township was merged into Kuangdonggou town.
