Xidayao town
Xidayao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dengta City, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Dengta City, bordering Jiguanshan Township in the southeast, Xiaotun town across Taizi River in the South and southwest, Luodatai town in the West and northwest, huazi town in the north and northeast, with an administrative area of 89.3 square kilometers.
During the Warring States period, it belonged to Liaodong County; in 1996, Dengta county was set up as a city, and Xidayao township was changed into Xidayao Town, which belonged to Dengta city. By the end of 2018, the population of West Da Yao town registered residence was 23367. As of June 2020, Xidayao town has 12 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Xidayao town was 58.83 million yuan, an increase of 30% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 11 million yuan, an increase of 31% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 30 industrial enterprises in Xidayao Town, including 5 above scale and 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the Warring States period, it belonged to Liaodong county.
During the Qin and Han Dynasties, it belonged to Xiangping County, Liaodong county.
During the southern and Northern Dynasties and the rule of Koguryo, the system of prefectures and counties was abolished and Liaodong city and Baiyan city were established.
In the 19th year of Tang Zhenguan (645), Emperor Taizong Li Shimin led his army to fight for Koguryo in the East and conquered Liaodong City, which was called liaozhou. The territory belonged to the governor's office of Liaocheng Prefecture.
In the third year of Khitan Shence (918), yeluabaoji, the emperor of Liao Dynasty, captured the eastern city of Liao Dynasty and set up Liaoyang Prefecture, belonging to Liaoyang County.
In the first year of Huitong (938), it was changed to Tokyo Road, with Liaoyang Prefecture in Tokyo under it, belonging to Liaoyang County.
In the Jin Dynasty, the road was set up by changing the road, and the Lufu Prefecture was established. Liaoyang Prefecture had four counties, belonging to Shicheng County.
In the Yuan Dynasty, Shicheng County was abolished and belonged to Liaoyang County.
In the Ming Dynasty, provincial roads, prefectures and counties were abolished, capital departments and health posts were established, belonging to the command department of Liaodong.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Liaoyang County.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), three districts were established in Liaoyang County, which is the third district (located in huazi).
In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County.
In 1956, Xidayao township was established.
In September 1958, Xidayao commune was established.
In 1968, the lighthouse district was built, belonging to the lighthouse district.
In April 1980, it belongs to Dengta county.
In 1985, Xidayao township was rebuilt.
In 1996, Dengta county was replaced by a city, and Xidayao township was changed into Xidayao Town, belonging to Dengta city.

Most of the terrain in Xidayao town is hilly, with mountains in the East, which is the aftervein of Changbai Mountain, and a small area of plain in the West. The highest point is located in "Laohuchong" in shangguanyao village in the east of the town, with an altitude of 500 meters. The lowest point is located in Ertaizi Village in the west of the town, with an altitude of 50 meters.

hydrology
There are two rivers in Xidayao Town, Taizi River and Dengta irrigation canal. They flow from the gate of the city, through Guantun, hanjialazi, gonganbao and Donghou heiyingtai village, and flow 8 kilometers from east to west.
