Longbao town

Long Bao Town, belonging to Yushu City, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located in the western part of the city. It connects the ancient streets and the Yushu, and the south of the zando county and the upper lashxiu township. The west is located in the county of Duo, and the north across the Tianhe river meets Qumalai county. In 2018, the area was 1728.4 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 9049.

In 1959, Jielong commune was established. In 1963, Jielong township was established. In 1972, Jielong commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to Jielong township. In 2001, Jielong and haxiu townships merged to establish Longbao town. As of October 2019, Longbao town has one community and six animal husbandry committees.

In 2011, the per capita net income of herdsmen was 2750 yuan; there were 230 shops, 150 permanent residents, with an annual turnover of 38 million yuan; there were restaurants, shops and so on.
