Xutun town

Xutun Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Gaizhou City, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Gaizhou City, adjacent to Liangtun town in the East, xiaoshipeng town in the southeast and south, Shuangtai town in the southwest, Taiyangsheng street in the West and northwest, Dongcheng Street in the north, and Nuanquan town in the northeast. The administrative area is 106.23 square kilometers.

At the end of 1947, Liangtun district was abolished and Xutun district was established, with 14 villages in Xutun district. In May 1998, Xutun township was transformed into Xutun town. By the end of 2018, 20486 households registered residence in Xu Tun Town. As of June 2020, Xutun town has 10 administrative villages.

History of construction

In 1945, there were 14 villages in the area.

At the end of the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), Liangtun district was abolished and Xutun district was established. Fourteen villages in the area belong to Xutun district.

At the end of 1949, Xutun district was merged with shanghezhai district and named as the first district (Xutun) by numbers. Each village in the district belongs to one district.

In 1950, the District moved to Henan village (Gujiazi), still known as the first district.

In March 1956, the first district was abolished and two townships were established in the territory: Xutun Township, a township directly under the county, and Zengdian Township, a township under the jurisdiction of tuandian district.

In June 1958, the whole county was withdrawn from the district and merged into the township, and Zengdian township was merged into Xutun township. On October 1 of the same year, the whole county realized communization and established GAIPING County commune with 13 brigades. Xutun and Zengdian are the two management areas under the jurisdiction of Taiyangsheng brigade. The management area has operation areas.

In March 1959, GAIPING County commune was abolished, Taiyangsheng brigade was changed into commune, the original management area was changed into operation area, and the original operation area was changed into brigade.

In November 1960, donglaoyemiao village was assigned to the county Baiguo livestock breeding farm.

In May 1961, Xutun commune was founded by Taiyangsheng commune.

In 1983, Xutun commune was transformed into Xutun Township, and its jurisdiction remained unchanged.
