Ping'an town
Ping'an Town, belonging to Dawa District, Panjin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Dawa district and the middle of Daliao River Plain. It faces Gouyan town and Shuiyuan town of Dashiqiao City across Daliao River in the East, Tianzhuangtai town in the South and West, gedulou reservoir in the north, Tangjia town and Xi'an town, with an administrative area of 72.81 square kilometers.
In 1653, Ping'an town belonged to Haicheng County; in 1985, it was restored to Ping'an township; in December 2009, Ping'an township was changed into a town. By the end of 2018, the population of Ping'an town registered residence was 19356. As of June 2020, Ping'an town has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Ping'an town is located in No. 659 Jianshe village.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Ping'an town was 14200 yuan. In 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises in Ping'an Town, including 2 Enterprises above Designated Size and 31 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1653, Ping'an town belonged to Haicheng county.
In 1876, yaodaozi, Xintun and caijiatun in the South belonged to the third Township in the southwest of Haicheng County, and the fifth Township in the north.
In 1910, the villages of Haba, Xintun, dashanjiazi, xiaosanjiazi and caocai in the South were under the jurisdiction of Yingkou Zhilitang, while the villages in the north were still under the jurisdiction of Haicheng county.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), Yingkou Zhili hall was changed into Yingkou county. In the south, it belongs to Haba village, the seventh district of Yingkou County, and in the north, it belongs to Gaokan village, the Sixth District of Haicheng county.
In 1934, Ping'an farm was established.
In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), the district was changed into a village, belonging to Haba village in Panshan county.
In September 1945, Haba district was set up as a district government.
In July 1950, Ping'an district was established and a district government was set up in Ping'an Village, which belongs to Panshan county.
In 1953, Panshan County divided Dawa area into water and dry fields. The paddy fields in this area were classified as the tenth area and changed into the sixth area, namely Ping'an farm.
In 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. The original part of Dawa district (Bajiazi, Taoyuan, Dafang, Xiaofang, Ping'an) belonged to Ping'an township.
In 1962, the original Xi'an farm was divided into Xi'an farm, Dongfeng Farm and Ping'an farm. Caocai farm, Xintun farm and Jianshe farm were merged into Ping'an farm again.
In 1971, the farm Department of Ping'an farm moved to Haba village.
In 1985, it was restored to Ping'an township.
In December 2009, Ping'an township was transformed into a town.
