Wolongquan town
Wolongquan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Gaizhou City, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Gaizhou city. It is adjacent to Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County, Anshan City in the East, Kuangdonggou town in the southeast, South and southwest, Wanfu town in the west, wangxingren town in Liangtun town in the northwest, damiaogou town in bangshibao town in the north and lvwang town in Dashiqiao City in the northeast, with an administrative area of 184.43 square kilometers.
In the early Republic of China, it belonged to GAIPING County, Liaoshen road; in 1992, it was removed from the county and set up as Wolongquan Town, Gaizhou city. By the end of 2018, the population of Wolong spring town registered residence was 16883. As of June 2020, Wolongquan town has nine administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Wolongquan town was 5.64 million yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year. Among them, the local fiscal revenue was 2 million yuan, an increase of 25% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 10400 yuan. In 2018, Wolongquan town has four industrial enterprises, including one above scale and 52 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the early Republic of China, it belonged to GAIPING county.
In 1930, it was under the jurisdiction of Kuangdonggou eight districts in GAIPING county
After 1931, Wolongquan village was established.
In 1945, Beiyang township was established.
On October 18, 1947, after the liberation of GAIPING, Wolongquan district was established.
In 1949, after the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belongs to eight mining areas.
In July 1950, it was named after the number, belonging to eight districts of GAIPING county.
In March 1956, the whole county was merged into districts to build townships, and the original eight districts were changed into Kuangdonggou district office.
In June 1958, the whole county withdrew the district and merged the township, Hutun and Beiyang two townships merged into Wolongquan Township, Hutun was renamed Wolongquan village; in October of the same year, GAIPING County commune was established.
In March 1959, GAIPING County commune was abolished, and Kuangdonggou production brigade was transformed into Kuangdonggou commune. All management areas were abolished, and the operation area was changed into production brigade.
In 1983, the commune and brigade were changed into townships and villages, and Wolongquan commune was changed into townships, and its jurisdiction remained unchanged.
In 1984, the township was set up and Wolongquan town was established.
In 1992, the county was removed and the city was established as Wolongquan town of Gaizhou city.

The rivers in Wolongquan town belong to Liaohe River Basin. The main rivers are Baiyang River and Longquan River. The total length of Baiyang River is about 30.5 km; the total length of Baiyang River is 17 km through yaobaozi, Beiyang, qianjiahe and Dazhai; the total length of Longquan River is 13.5 km through Yihe, niangniaomiao, Wolongquan, Jinchanggou and Dudian villages. The drainage area is 183 square kilometers.
