Fuping town

Fuping Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Fuping County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is the seat of Fuping County Government. It is located in the middle of Fuping County, adjacent to Wanglinkou town in the East, Nanzhuang Town and Beiguoyuan town in the south, Tianshengqiao town and Xiazhuang town in the west, Shawo town and shijiazhai town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 14 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 31 kilometers, with a total area of 294.4 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Fuping town registered residence was 58763.

In September 1958, Dongfeng commune was established. In July 1961, Chengguan commune was established. In February 1984, it was changed into Fuping town. As of June 2020, Fuping town has jurisdiction over one neighborhood committee, 30 village committees and one similar community, and the town people's government is located in Chengxiang village.

In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Fuping town was 60 million yuan, and the total industrial output value was 350 million yuan. The total revenue was 46.044 million yuan, an increase of 43.9% over the previous year. Historical evolution

In September 1958, Dongfeng commune was established.

In July 1961, Chengguan commune was established.
