Xialuhe Korean Township, belonging to Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County, slightly north, bordering Ji'an City, Jilin Province in the East, Zhenjiang town in the South and across the river from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Budayuan town in the West, and wulidianzi Town, Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi City in the north, with an administrative area of 269.84 square kilometers.

In 1946, xialuhe district was set up; in March 2002, it was changed into xialuhe Korean township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the Korean people in the lower reaches of the river was 10887. As of June 2020, xialuhe Korean countryside has jurisdiction over six administrative villages.
