Hongsheng Township
Hongsheng Township, subordinate to Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County. It is adjacent to wangqingmen town in the East, Hongmiaozi Township in the south, Xinbin town in the West and beisiping Township in the north. It covers an area of 126.59 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 7914 people had registered residence in Hongsheng township.
On may 291961, dongchangtai administrative area was set up from Xinbin commune. On September 24, 1965, Hongsheng commune was merged into suburban commune. In March 1966, Hongsheng separated from the suburban commune and re established Hongsheng commune. In 1967, the first production headquarters of Hongsheng commune was established. In February 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of Hongsheng commune was established. In July 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. As of June 2020, Hongsheng township has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed at No. 32 of Hongsheng village.
In 2018, Hongsheng Township had 7 industrial enterprises and 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
From September 1945 to September 1949, it belongs to houcang district.
In September 1956, two townships, Baiqi and dongchangtai, were built under the jurisdiction of Liujia District Committee and wangqingmen District Committee. In October of the same year, the commune was established, with four brigades of dongchangtai, Hongsheng, Zhangjia and nanmeigou, belonging to Hongqi community 1 of Xinbin Town, and dongchangtai management area was set up.
On may 291961, dongchangtai administrative area was set up from Xinbin commune.
On September 24, 1965, Hongsheng commune was merged into suburban commune.
