Shiwen town
Shiwen Town, subordinate to Fushun County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Fushun County, adjacent to Jiubing Township in the East, Xiahe Township in the southeast, Langlang Township in the southwest, Lagu Manchu Township in Wanghua District in the West and Tayu town in Wanghua District in the north. It covers an area of 151 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, Shiwen town had a registered residence of 22384 people.
In 1922, it belonged to the first and seventh districts of Fushun County. In September 1952, Fushun County was abolished and Fushun City was included in the territory. In July 1953, Funan district was established, which belongs to Shiwen township of Funan district. In September 1983, the society was transformed into a township. In January 1985, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Shiwen town governs 1 community and 15 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Shiwen town is located in Shiwen village.

In 1909, the first year of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the second township of Fushun County.
In 1922, it belonged to the first and seventh districts of Fushun County.
In 1935, the Japanese puppet regime implemented the new village system, belonging to one district and seven districts.
In August 1945, Fushun County Democratic United Government was established, belonging to the fourth and fifth districts of Fushun County.
During the period from 1946 to 1948, the Kuomintang occupied nanhuayuan district and Gelao district respectively.
In October 1948, it was divided into five districts and six districts.
In March 1949, it was divided into six districts and seven districts.
In September 1952, Fushun County was abolished and Fushun City was included in the territory.
In July 1953, Funan district was established, which belongs to Shiwen township of Funan district.
In the spring of 1956, the "5619" senior society was established in Shiwen Township, which has jurisdiction over seven operation areas.
In October 1958, the commune was established, and the Hongwei commune was established in Funan District, with a management area under it. The territory belongs to two management areas, namely, Shiwen and Suzi.
In September 1983, the society was transformed into a township.
In January 1985, the township was transformed into a town.
