Xiexing town

Xiexing town is the hometown of Deng Xiaoping, the chief designer of China's reform and opening up. It is only 6 kilometers away from Guang'an City, Sichuan Province. Evolution of organizational system

In the early Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the villagers decided to build a new one from the old one, so it was named Xiexing. It was Xiexing Township in 1949, changed to commune in 1958 and restored to township in 1984. In 1985, the town was established and Jinguang township was incorporated. In March 2013, the people's Government of Guang'an City put Xiexing town and nongxi town under the management of Xiexing eco-cultural tourism park, and laid out the science, education, culture, tourism development and ecological construction cooperation functional zone of Sichuan Chongqing Cooperation Demonstration Zone.
