Historical evolution

In 1975, huangtuqiao commune was established, and in 1984, the township was changed. In 1996, it covers an area of 40 square kilometers and has a population of 36000. It governs 17 administrative villages, namely Huangqiao, sundi, Xiaoheng, Donghu, Xihu, Sunzhuang, sansuolou, zaokou, Peiqiao, shuangmiaoli, Zhuzhuang, peizhuang, hujiatang, qianshiyang, houshiyang, dongfuke and xifuke.
