Dayushu town

Dayushu town is located 4 kilometers southeast of Yanqing District in Beijing, 5 kilometers away from Badaling Great Wall. It is a suburban town. The town covers an area of 60.7 square kilometers, with 32000 mu of arable land and 15082 permanent residents (in 2017). It has 25 administrative villages, one community and 25 village committees.

Dayushu town borders Badaling town in the south, Jingzhuang town in the East, Shenjiaying town across Guishui River in the north and Kangzhuang town and Yanqing town in the West.

Historical evolution

Most villages in the town area were built in the Ming Dynasty.

After 1912, it was under the jurisdiction of Yanqing County.

Pingbei Anti Japanese base was opened up in 1940, belonging to Changyan United county.

In 1945, it belonged to Yanqing County. In 1948, it was liberated and belonged to the Second District of Yanqing. In December, it was divided into the first district of Yanqing.

In 1953, the township level political power was established, belonging to jiangjiatai Township and YANGHUZHUANG township.

In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and Dayushu township was established, with 18 villages under its jurisdiction.

On July 26, 1958, Lianhuachi village was divided into three villages: Dongxingyuan, xinbaozhuang and bojiying.

In August 1958, it was changed into Dengta (Yanqing) people's Commune and became a big Yushu brigade, with 18 villages under its jurisdiction. At the same time, Dongxingyuan, xinbaozhuang and bojiying were assigned to Xiatun township.

Dayushu people's commune was established in 1961. It was changed into gaomiaotun commune on May 30, 1966.

Gaomiaotun commune was changed into Dayushu Township in 1983.

In 1990, Sijiaying village was assigned to Yanqing town.

In July 2000, Dayushu Township and Xiatun Township were abolished and changed into Dayushu town. At the same time, the original Xiatun township of Dongxingyuan, xinbaozhuang, bojiying, xixingyuan, Xiatun, yuejiaying, chengjiaying, Junying 8 villages under the jurisdiction of Dayushu Town, 25 villages.

At the end of 2002, the town government was stationed in Dayushu village, with an area of 64 square kilometers and a population of 13600. It has jurisdiction over jiangjiatai, chenjiaying, YANGHUZHUANG, fugaoying, xiguanying, Shangxinzhuang, xiaxinzhuang, zongjiaying, Dayushu, gaomiaotun, Liujiapu, Nanhongmen, beihongmen, dongsangyuan, danihe, xiaonihe, xiaozhangjiakou, Xiatun, Dongxingyuan, xixingyuan, yuejiaying, bojiying, xiaojiaying, etc There are 25 administrative villages in xinbaozhuang, chengjiaying and Junying.

Originally, Xiatun township was under the jurisdiction of Yanqing County. Located in the southwest of the county, 4 kilometers away from the county. Yan (Qing) Kang (Zhuang) highway, Badaling highway and Kang (Zhuang) Yan (Qing) railway branch line transit. In 1949, it belonged to the first district of Yanqing. Xiatun township was set up in 1956, commune was changed in 1966, and township was changed in 1983. In 1996, it covers an area of 19.5 square kilometers and has a population of 9000. It governs 14 administrative villages, including Dalu, dongguanfang, xiaofengying, xiaowangjiabao, Donghongsi, xindafengying, Xiatun, xixingyuan, Dongxingyuan, yuejiaying, bojiying, Junying, chengjiaying and xinbaozhuang. In 2000, Xiatun township was abolished and 8 villages including Xiatun, xixingyuan, Dongxingyuan, yuejiaying, bojiying, Junying, chengjiaying and xinbaozhuang were merged into Dayushu town. 6 villages including Donghongsi, Dalu, xindafengying, dongguanfang, xiaofengying and xiaowangjiabao were merged into Kangzhuang town.

The origin of history

Dayushu town is a village in Ming Dynasty with a long history. According to records, there used to be a big elm tree in the east of the village (it is said that five people could hold it together, but there is no one left now). In 1573, Jiajing built a wall and crenels, which was called big elm fort, later referred to as today's name.

Industrial work: Dayushu town has been designated as an important industrial town of the whole county. In recent years, it has closely focused on the guiding ideology of "building a town through industry" and paid close attention to the infrastructure construction of the park. Tourism development

Dongsangyuan village, the first new energy folk custom demonstration village (registered) in China, has 12 households. These households use solar energy to boil water, take a bath and light lamps. Solar lamps are installed on both sides of the village road and the main streets of the village. Huakun Ecological Park: located in xinbaozhuang village, Dayushu Town, Yanqing County, covering a total area of 500 mu.
