Mafeng town
Mafeng Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Haicheng City, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Haicheng City. It is adjacent to Liaoyang City in the East, Jiewen town in the southeast, Ximu town in the south, pailou town in the southwest, Bali Town across Haicheng River in the west, Xiangtang management area in the northwest, Wangshi town in the north and Wangshi town in the northeast. The administrative area is 165.4 square kilometers.
In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Huashan County, Anqing Prefecture; in November 1984, Mafeng township was set up as a town; in November 2010, Haihua community, the former Haizhou administrative area, was assigned to Mafeng town. By the end of 2018, the population of Ma Feng town registered residence was 34942. As of June 2020, Mafeng town has one community and 18 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Mafeng town was 56.569 million yuan, an increase of 17% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 34.72 million yuan, an increase of 14.1% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 15000 yuan. History of construction
In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Huashan County of Anqing Prefecture.
In Liao Dynasty, it belonged to Yimu County, Liaoyang Prefecture, Tokyo road.
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to the command department of Liaodong capital.
In the Qing Dynasty, Liaoyang withdrew from the government, belonging to Haicheng county.
During the period of the Japanese puppet regime, it was under the jurisdiction of the puppet Haicheng County Office and set up the Mafeng village office.
In 1945, it belonged to the Ximu District of Haicheng county government of the Communist Party of China.
In 1946, the KMT occupied Ma Feng, restored the administrative divisions of the puppet Manchu period, and established Li Ma Feng township.
In 1947, the Communist Party liberated Haicheng and was led by Haicheng County, Liaodong province.
In 1948, Haicheng county government established Mafeng district (including the whole territory of today's Mafeng town and part of wangshixiangtang).
In 1950, Mafeng District became the third people's government.
In 1955, it was changed into Ma Feng District.
In 1958, Ma Feng commune was established.
In 1961, Shisi County designated Mafeng commune. After the adjustment, there were 25 production teams in the commune.
In September 1978, the Revolutionary Committee of Mafeng commune was abolished and the Management Committee of Mafeng commune was established.
In October 1983, the commune system was abolished and Mafeng township was established.
In November 1984, Mafeng township was set up as a town.
In November 2010, Haihua community in the former Haizhou management area was transferred to Mafeng town.
