Yongan Township
Yongan Township is located in the southwest of Yongfu County, bordering Yongfu town and Guangfu Township in the East, Zhongdu town of Luzhai County in the south, Sanhuang Township in the West and Baishou town in the north. It is 29 kilometers long from north to South and 18 kilometers wide from east to west, covering an area of 371 square kilometers. The Township People's government is located in gudiwei, 21 kilometers away from the county seat, and 88 kilometers away from the highway (Yongxing Road).
Yongan Township is now under the jurisdiction of Yongan Township (except LIULONG Village) in 1947, Jiangdong and Fenghuang villages under the jurisdiction of Anhe Township and Xinxing Township, belonging to Baishou county. In 1949, it was the Yangjing and Fenghuang administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Yonghe Township and Xingren Township, both of which belong to Baishou county. In April 1950, Yangjing and Fenghuang villages were assigned to Yonghe Township and GuDi district was established. On December 25 of the same year, they were renamed the third district of Baishou county. On August 5, 1952, Baishou and Yongfu counties were merged into Yongfu County, and the third district of Baishou county was changed into the eighth District of Yongfu county. On September 20, 1955, it was renamed GuDi area. It was renamed Heping District in 1956. On December 12, 1957, Heping was divided into Heping and Fenghuang. On August 21, 1958, Heping and Fenghuang townships merged to form Heping people's commune. In 1961, Heping people's commune was divided into Heping people's Commune and Fenghuang people's commune, and the three brigades of Shilong, gaozhang and Longquan of Shoucheng people's commune were assigned to Fenghuang people's commune. On July 291962, Heping and Fenghuang commune were merged and renamed Heping District. At the same time, gaozhang, Shilong, Zhongcun and Longquan are classified as Shoucheng district. On August 21, 1968, it was renamed the people's commune of peace. It was renamed Yong'an people's commune on November 23, 1982. It was renamed Yongan Township on July 14, 1984. Yongan means "eternal peace".
In 2012, it has 9 villagers' committees (Fenghuang, juntun, Yongfu, Yongxin, Duzhou, Yong'an, Taihe, Fengmu, LATA) and 189 villagers' groups, with a total of 7340 households and a population of 26217. There are Han, Zhuang, Yao, Hui, Miao and Dong nationalities living there. Guiliu Mandarin is commonly used by residents, and a few of them speak Jiangxi dialect or Hakka dialect.
Township introduction
The whole township has a subtropical monsoon climate with abundant rainfall. The annual average sunshine is 1545.2 hours, the annual average temperature is 19 ℃, and there are 316 frost free days in the whole year. The annual average precipitation is 1871.6 mm. The highest year is 2650.6 mm.
Rivers crisscross the whole Township, and the main rivers are Dabang River, Fenghuang River, Longjiang River and lata river. There are 7 rivers in the township. The total basin area of hydropower is 3368.2 square kilometers, the hydropower reserve is 22883.81 kW, the exploitable capacity is 6135 kW, 26.5 million kwh. In 2004, three small hydropower stations are under construction in the dabangshui river system, with a planned installed capacity of 4500kw.
Rural resources
The whole township is mainly engaged in agriculture and forestry. In 2004, the cultivated land area was 34760 mu, including 25691 mu of paddy field and 9069 mu of dry land. Agriculture is mainly sugarcane, fruit and silkworm industry. The forestry area of the township is 187256 mu, including 85317 mu of timber forest, 27773 mu of protective forest, 2108 mu of bamboo forest, 2168 mu of economic forest and 55 mu of firewood forest. The forest coverage rate of the township is 25.81%, and there are 135346 mu of suitable forest land. Livestock and poultry mainly include pigs, cattle and goats. In 2006, there were 28000 pigs, 6368 cattle and 45000 goats.
Local products: mushrooms, fungus, pine resin, Siraitia grosvenorii, dried bamboo shoots.
Mineral resources: the territory is rich in iron ore, barite, calcite and marble, limestone, etc., distributed in all villages of the township.
Township enterprises include Duzhou iron mine, dayangcao barite mine, Xiang barite mine, Yong'an Hesheng ore powder plant, lianghou calcite mine and some wood processing plants.
There is a junior middle school with 1100 students, 72 teaching staff, a central primary school, 8 village primary schools, 6 teaching sites, 1626 primary school students, 99 teaching staff, a health center and 17 medical staff. All villages have health centers with 11 medical staff.
Domestic transportation: the road from lata to Jiangyan runs through the north and south, South to Liuzhou via Luzhai Zhongdu Town, north to Baishou Town, county or Guilin, West to Sanhuang Township, Rong'an county and other places via Jiangyan intersection, and the nine village committees in the jurisdiction have township level roads.
