Yaojiazhuang town

Yaojiazhuang Town, belonging to Qiaodong District of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of the south of Qiaodong district. It is adjacent to dacanggai town of Xuanhua District in the East, shalingzi town of Xuanhua District in the south, laoyazhuang town in the West and renmenshan village of Wuyi Road in the north. It is 3km away from Qiaodong District People's government, with a total area of 46.22km2.

In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, yaojiazhuang town belonged to the Second District of Xuanhua city; in March 1990, yaojiazhuang township was changed into yaojiazhuang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Yao Jia Zhuang town was 13910. As of June 2020, yaojiazhuang town has seven administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in yaojiazhuang village.

History of construction

In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, yaojiazhuang town belonged to the Second District of Xuanhua city.

In 1953, a mutual aid group was established.

In 1955, the junior and senior societies were established.

In August 1958, it was assigned to Chafang District of Zhangjiakou City.

In February 1961, Yulin commune was established.

In 1984, Yulin commune was changed into yaojiazhuang township.

In March 1990, it was changed from yaojiazhuang township to yaojiazhuang town.

In 1993, yaojiazhuang town was assigned to Qiaodong district.

By the end of 2011, yaojiazhuang town had 8 administrative villages, including yaojiazhuang, yubaodun, Wangjiazhai, xiaoxinzhuang, xiyulin, zhongyulin, Dongyulin and Nanzhuang, with 35 villager groups.
