Pingxi Street
Pingxi street, belonging to Yuping Dong Autonomous County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province, is located in the south of Yuping Dong Autonomous County, adjacent to Dalong street and mayintang street in the East, Huanglei Township in Xinhuang Dong Autonomous County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province in the south, Xindian Township and Dayou town in cengong County, Qiandongnan Miao Dong Autonomous Prefecture in the west, zaojiaoping street in the southwest and zhujiachang town in the north. The total area is 44 square kilometers. As of June 2020, Pingxi street has a total population of 36000.
From 1390, the 23rd year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty to 1727, the fifth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty, Pingxi town was the Pingxi health center. In 1941, Pingxi town was established. In January 1984, the first district was changed to Pingxi town. On January 16, 2016, Guizhou Province agreed to cancel Pingxi town and set Pingxi street and zaojiaoping street. As of June 2020, Pingxi sub district has jurisdiction over 7 community neighborhood committees and 3 village committees, and the sub district office is located in Wuyang village.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of yuanpingxi town reached 116 million yuan, an increase of 3.2% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 3017 yuan. By June 2020, the collective economic income of each village in Pingxi street has exceeded 1.4 million yuan.
Historical evolution
From the 23rd year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1390) to the fifth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1727), it was the Pingxi health center.

In January 1984, the first district was changed to Pingxi town.
In April 1992, Zhenping township was merged into Pingxi town.
On January 16, 2016, Guizhou Province agreed to cancel Pingxi town and set Pingxi street and zaojiaoping street.

In January 1984, the original Pingxi town governed four administrative villages, namely Pingxi, siyantang, Wuyang and Qilitang, and 36 production cooperatives.
In April 1992, the former Pingxi town had jurisdiction over two residents' committees of siyantang and Beimen, and 14 administrative villages of Qilitang, Wuyang, wengyang, yejiping, Anping, gunmulong, zaojiaoping, Yangliu, Pingxi, tiejiaxi, matoutian, Maoping, Honghua and siyantang.
By the end of 2011, the original Pingxi town had 4 residents' committees, namely beimenqiao, ziqishan, jiaochangba and Wenshui; 14 villagers' committees, namely Qilitang, Wuyang, wengyang, yejiping, Anping, goumulong, zaojiaoping, Yangliu, Pingxi, tiejiaxi, matoutian, Maoping, Honghua and siyantang; 33 residents' groups and 131 villagers' groups.
On January 16, 2016, Pingxi Street took Qilitang village, Wuyang village, Anping village, matoutian village, Honghua village, Yangliu village, Pingxi village, Wenshui community and jiaochangba community as administrative areas.

Pingxi street is located in the transition zone from Yunnan Guizhou Plateau to hills in Western Hunan, with high terrain in the West and low terrain in the East. To the south of Wuyang River, it belongs to the eastern section of Miaoling, which is in the shape of undulating low mountains; to the north of Wuyang River, it is in the shape of undulating low hills to the Northeast; and to the middle, the terrain is low.

Pingxi street has a subtropical monsoon climate, with no severe cold in winter and no intense heat in summer. The annual average temperature is 16.4 ℃, the extreme minimum temperature is - 4.2 ℃ (January 160, 1993), and the extreme maximum temperature is 38.9 ℃ (July 15, 2002). The average annual precipitation is 1248.7mm, and the minimum extreme annual precipitation is 1054.1mm (1995). The rainfall is concentrated in April to October, and the maximum is in May.
