Wolong
Wolong Town, a city of Pingquan, Chengde, is located in the central part of Pingquan city. It is located in the middle of Pingquan city. It is adjacent to Yang Shu Ling town and Maolan Valley Township. It is adjacent to Pingquan town and is connected to Wang Tu village. The north is bordered by Liang Zi town and seven Dai villages, with a total area of 230.23 square kilometers. At the end of 2018, the registered residence population is 32756.
In 1949, it was named Wazidian district. In 1950, it was the Second District of Pingquan County (Wazidian District). In December 2004, shatuozi township was abolished and Wolong Town was established. In November 2008, mengzhangzi village and Nanshan village were merged into ganbaohezi village, and Shijiagou village into Bajia village. As of June 2020, Wolong Town has 18 administrative villages.
In 2018, Wolong Town had 80 industrial enterprises, of which 13 were large-scale and 41 were comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
