Hongyazi town

Hongyazi Town, belonging to Xingcheng City, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Xingcheng City, connecting Yangan Manchu Township in the East, nandashan Manchu Township and shahousuo Township in the south, Jianchang Manchu Township in the west, Guojia town and Jiumen Manchu Township in the northwest, and Baita Manchu Township in the northeast, with an administrative area of 150.1 square kilometers.

In January 1956, Hongyazi township was built; in April 2002, Hongyazi Manchu Township and Caijin Township were merged into Hongyazi Manchu Township. In 2013, Hongyazi Manchu Township was set up as Hongyazi town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Red Cliff town was 29735. As of June 2020, Hongyazi town has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Hongyazi village.

In 2018, there were 137 industrial enterprises in Hongyazi Town, including 7 above scale enterprises and 50 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In January 1956, Hongyazi township was built.

In 1958, the township was transformed into Hongyazi commune.

In March 1966, the Revolutionary Committee of Hongyazi commune was established.

In 1983, it was changed to Hongyazi township.

In 1985, it was renamed Hongyazi Manchu Township.

In April 2002, Hongyazi Manchu Township and Caijin Township were merged into Hongyazi Manchu Township.

In 2013, Hongyazi Manchu Township was set up as Hongyazi town.

Hongyazi town belongs to semi hilly and semi mountainous area. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. It is surrounded by mountains and water in the northwest. In the southeast, there are overlapping mountains and gullies. Heifeng mountain, the highest point in the territory, is 399 meters above sea level.

Yanzhou City site, also known as Yanzhou City, is located in Guchengzi village, Hongyazi town. The perimeter of the city wall is about 4000 meters. There are Baoan Temple, wusejing and old streets in the city.

In June 2007, the people's Government of Liaoning Province approved the Hongyazi Manchu Yangko in Xingcheng city as the second batch of intangible cultural heritage in Liaoning Province.

Honorary title

In September 2018, the general office of the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas and the general office of the Ministry of Finance approved Hongyazi town to carry out the demonstration construction of a strong agricultural town in 2018.
