Sancha Township

Sancha Township, belonging to Lintan County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Lintan county. It borders on Xizhai town of Min County in Dingxi County in the East and Southeast, taobin Township in the south, southwest and West, dianzi Township in the northwest and Wangqi Township in the north and northeast. The area is 82 square kilometers. In 2018, 2564 people registered residence.

In 1949, Sancha Township was set up. In 1958, it was incorporated into Taoyang commune. In 1962, it was changed into Sancha commune. In 1983, it was restored to township. In June 2020, Sancha Township governs five administrative villages.

In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Sancha Township reached 5.83 million yuan, an increase of 10.3% over the previous year, and the per capita net income of farmers was 2200 yuan.
