Shilipu Street
Shilipu street, belonging to Baqiao District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the west of Baqiao district and the West Bank of Chanhe river. It is adjacent to DAMINGGONG street in Laiyang District in the north, Jiapo street in Yanta District in the south, Hujiamiao street in Xincheng District in the west, Luhe River in the East and Baqiao street in the East, with a total area of 15.6 square kilometers.
Mijiaya village is an important reference site for Banpo site, where there is a tribe site of Yangzhao culture in Neolithic period. The origin of place names
It used to be a post station ten li outside the east gate of ancient Chang'an city. According to the stele of Wuliang temple, during the reign of Zhenguan of Tang Dynasty (627-649), a post station was set up near Chanhe River, named chanhepu. Ming Hongwu years (1368-1398) renamed Shilipu. Chengning county annals written by Jiaqing of Qing Dynasty is called dongshilipu.
History of construction
In 1949, Xi'an city is the Tenth District, divided into two townships.
In January 1955, it belonged to No. 1 and No. 2 townships of Changle District, with No. 1 Township in Yinjia street and No. 2 Township in Shilipu street.

Mijiaya site
Located on the West Bank of Chanhe River in the eastern suburb of Xi'an City, the mijiaya site is distributed around mijiaya village, Baqiao District, Xi'an city. The site is about 2.5 km long and 0.5 km wide from north to south. The main unearthed objects are pottery, bone ware, stone tools and a small amount of jade and dental ware.
