Erlang Township
Erlang Township, belonging to Cheng County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Cheng County, bordering Shaba town and Zhifang town in the East, Chenyuan town in the south, Wangmo town and Liuxiang Township in Xihe County in the northwest. It is 22 kilometers away from Cheng County, with a total area of 155.03 square kilometers.
In September 1955, Erlang Township belonged to Chenyuan district; in September 1983, it was changed from Hongwei commune to Erlang township. By the end of 2018, the population of Erlang Township registered residence was 3982. As of June 2020, Erlang village has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Yangpo community of dianzi village.
The main food crops in Erlang township are wheat and corn, and the main animal husbandry is cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, rabbits and wasps. In 2011, the total industrial output value of Erlang Township reached 82.2 million yuan.
