Changbai Township
Changbai township is a township under the jurisdiction of Yanyuan County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with an area of 279.45 square kilometers and a population of 10787 (2017).
On June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Changbai township.
Changbai township was established in 1952, changed to commune in 1972, and restored to township in 1984. Changbai township is located in the west of the county, 97 kilometers away from the county. Yanzuo highway passes through. It has jurisdiction over eight village committees, namely Heidi, zhongliangzi, Changbai, Guzhi, Qiaoman, Baiyang, Yangjiao and Fuma. Changbai Township mainly produces rice, corn, potato, pepper, flue-cured tobacco, tartary buckwheat and miscellaneous grains. Animal husbandry is dominated by cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry.
