Xihua town

Xihua Town, subordinate to Huating City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Huating City, adjacent to Donghua town in the East, Shangguan Town, Ankou town and Guguan town in Longxian County, Shaanxi Province in the south, Zhangjiachuan county in Tianshui City in the West and maxia town in the north. It covers an area of 236.6 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xihua town was 33788.

Before 1949, it was longan township. After 1949, longan district was established. In September 2002, the township was removed to build a town. On December 8, 2003, Ma'an was withdrawn from the township and merged. As of June 2020, Xihua town has jurisdiction over one community and 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Xihua village.

In 2018, there were 18 industrial enterprises in Xihua Town, including 2 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Xihua town is located in the hilly and gully area of the plateau. The terrain is high in the West and low in the East. It has both mountains and rivers. The average altitude is 1987 meters. The Guanshan Mountains lie across the central and western regions, and the Xiangu mountain stands in xihuachuan.

Xihua town has a temperate humid climate, with an annual average temperature of 7.9 ℃, an extreme maximum temperature of 36.4 ℃ (August 3, 1973) and an extreme minimum temperature of - 30.2 ℃ (December 28, 1991).
