Dingjia town
Dingjia Town, belonging to Changwu County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the west of Changwu county. It borders Zhaoren town in the East, Dudian town of Lingtai County in Gansu Province in the south, Zaoyuan town in the southeast, Hongjia town in the West and Dizhang town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 5 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 10 kilometers, with a total area of 35.56 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Dingjia town has nine administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of Ding Jia town was 11253. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Dingjia town reached 70 million yuan, accounting for 44.2% of GDP.
Historical evolution
It was originally named Jiaojia village, but it was even more so when a large family with the surname Ding moved in in the Qing Dynasty.
Qin and Han dynasties belong to quail Gu County.
After the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Yilu county.
After the Ming Dynasty, it belongs to Changwu county.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was under the jurisdiction of Zhaoren town and Yilu township of Changwu county.

History and culture
Dingjia town has 6 provincial and county-level key protected ancient sites (Jiangtai mountain, Zhangjiagou, nanshaijian, Zhanghe, Chenjiahe, liuzhuhe sites). Baiyi temple, an ancient temple in nanshaijian village, has a long history. Liu Zongyuan, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, once visited here and wrote a poem entitled "middle title of nanshaijian village". The cultural relics unearthed from these sites include pottery stoves and double eared pots from the spring and autumn and Warring States periods, stone axes and stone walls from the Neolithic period, and stone carvings and ancient swords from the Northern Wei Dynasty. They are of certain archaeological value for the study of Shang and Zhou cultures, Longshan cultures and Qijia cultures. There was a legend that fan Lihua, a famous general in ancient times, ordered soldiers here.
