Mutangyuan Town, Taoyuan County, Hunan Province, is a town established by withdrawing the township. With the approval of Hunan Provincial People's government, Taoyuan County was approved to abolish mutangyuan Township and establish mutangyuan town. It is said that a long time ago, a green dragon from Wulingyuan fought against Taoist Yao Gongming and lost the chehu embankment. Mutangyuan town is located between Changde City and Taoyuan County. It is the east gate of Taoyuan County and the front garden of Changde City.
