Dexing Manchu Township

Dexing Manchu Township is located in the northern mountainous area of Xifeng County, Liaoning Province, bordering Lishu County, Jilin Province, with an area of 106.98 square kilometers, cultivated land area of 2.5 square Mu and permanent population of 9197 (2017). It is a typical small township out of the district. It has jurisdiction over seven villages: Dexing, Puji, Lianyun, Shide, Fangshen, Longhua and Shuangyu.

Agriculture

Tussah stocking, nectarine production in greenhouse and melon production in cold shed are the pillar industries of the township. In recent years, with the continuous development of agriculture and rural economy, the planting structure has been continuously optimized. The development area of protected land for melons and vegetables is 1150 mu. The development of greenhouse vegetables is increasing year by year, achieving a linear benefit of 4 million yuan, and the per capita income of the whole township is increased by 400 yuan.

The output value of animal husbandry reached 10 million yuan, including 876 cattle, 1038 sheep, 1500 pigs and 300000 broilers, which increased the per capita income of the township by 1300 yuan. There are 128 tussah silkworms, the output is 128 tons, and the income of silkworm farmers is 11.52 million yuan.

The township government can get a rent of 400000 yuan per year for the successful transformation of the special fertilizer plant.
