Dongxing Township
Dongxing Township, which belongs to Lindian County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Lindian County, and is connected to Yilong Town, Yian County, and is connected to Sijiqing town. The west is adjacent to the Grand Township, and north is at the junction of four villages. In 2018, the area was 456.6 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 24695.
In the late Qing Dynasty, it was named pan Weizi. In the 36th year of the Republic of China (June 1947), it was renamed the seventh district. In 1967, it was renamed Dongfanghong commune. In 1981, it was renamed Dongxing commune. In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. As of October 2019, Dongxing rural area has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages and 1 original seed farm living area.
In 2018, Dongxing Township had 12 industrial enterprises and 121 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
